Requirements for the NJ Real Estate Broker License:
To qualify for a broker's license, you need a high school education or equivalency and 150 hours of prelicensure instruction. Additionally, you must have been continually licensed and employed on a full-time basis as a New Jersey real estate salesperson for the three years immediately preceding your application. Once you've successfully completed all three courses, you'll need to submit your completed school certificate and “Experience Report For Broker Applicant” form to the NJ Real Estate Commission for review and approval.
